We’re looking to appoint a General Manager to help shape and grow the agency’s offering in Australia.

Reporting to the CEO and working alongside agency directors, the General Manager will develop and manage a highly-skilled consulting team, have accountability for sustaining exceptional client service levels, oversee best-practice administrative systems and procedures, and help drive the firm’s business development agenda.

The creation of this important Melbourne-based position comes after a period of strong growth, underpinned by a widening client portfolio and a diverse and expanding team.

Six O’Clock works with an enviable list of large private and public companies, medium-sized and start-up businesses, government departments and agencies, industry bodies, and not-for-profit organisations.

Key areas of focus for the General Manager role include:

  • agency leadership and strategy development;
  • people management and agency operations;
  • client servicing and oversight; and
  • business and network development.

The successful candidate will have entrepreneurial flair and strong business acumen, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in advising c-suite executives and Board directors will be highly regarded.
