New recruit kicking goals on and off the field

New Six O’Clock recruit, Nadia Von Bertouch, a journalism graduate and talented footballer, has been keeping busy in recent weeks on a campaign close to her heart.

Nadia is front-and-centre on Six O’Clock’s work with the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup. She’s relishing the opportunity to combine her love of sport with her passion for communication.

This Sunday, Nadia will have to put the keyboard aside momentarily as she ties her boots for an AFLW debut for the St Kilda Football Club. Nadia’s expected to line-up in the Saints’ forward-line in the season-opener against the Western Bulldogs at RSEA Park.

Six O’Clock CEO Siobhan Koopmans said: “We’re so pleased for Nads, she’s a genuine utility player, gaining lots of the ball as she runs between a number of briefs that are keeping us busy at Six O’Clock. Goes without saying that we expect her to kick goals in both her pursuits.”

Nadia joined Six O’Clock in January, after relocating from Adelaide. There she completed a journalism degree and a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and affairs.
